CVSS v3.1 |
| Hangzhou Shunwang Rentdrv2 before 2024-12-24 allows local users to terminate EDR processes and possibly have unspecified other impact via DeviceIoControl with control code 0x22E010, as exploited in the wild in October 2023. |
| The theme.php file in SDCMS 2.8 has a command execution vulnerability that allows for the execution of system commands |
| An unauthenticated remote command execution vulnerability exists in AjaXplorer (now known as Pydio Cells) versions prior to 2.6. The flaw resides in the checkInstall.php script within the access.ssh plugin, which fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the destServer GET parameter. By injecting shell metacharacters, remote attackers can execute arbitrary system commands on the server with the privileges of the web server process. |
| Dotmesh is a git-like command-line interface for capturing, organizing and sharing application states. In versions 0.8.1 and prior, the unsafe handling of symbolic links in an unpacking routine may
enable attackers to read and/or write to arbitrary locations outside the
designated target folder. The routine `untarFile` attempts to guard against creating symbolic links that point outside the directory a tar archive is extracted to. However, a malicious tarball first linking `subdir/parent` to `..` (allowed, because `subdir/..` falls within the archive root) and then linking `subdir/parent/escapes` to `..` results in a symbolic link pointing to the tarball’s parent directory, contrary to the routine’s goals. This issue may lead to arbitrary file write (with same permissions as the program running the unpack operation) if the attacker can control the archive file. Additionally, if the attacker has read access to the unpacked files, they may be able to read arbitrary system files the parent process has permissions to read. As of time of publication, no patch for this issue is available.

| AVTECH devices that include the CloudSetup.cgi management endpoint are vulnerable to authenticated OS command injection. The `exefile` parameter in CloudSetup.cgi is passed to the underlying system command execution without proper validation or whitelisting. An authenticated attacker who can invoke this endpoint can supply crafted input to execute arbitrary system commands as root. Successful exploitation grants full control of the device, and - depending on deployment and whether the device stores credentials or has network reachability to internal systems - may enable credential theft, lateral movement, or data exfiltration. The archived SEARCH-LAB disclosure implies that this vulnerability was remediated in early 2017, but AVTECH has not defined an affected version range. |
| Kingdia CD Extractor 3.0.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the registration name field that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. Attackers can craft a malicious payload exceeding 256 bytes to overwrite Structured Exception Handler and gain remote code execution through a bind shell. |
| YouTube Video Grabber, now referred to as YouTube Downloader, 1.9.9.1 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting the Structured Exception Handler. Attackers can craft a malicious payload of 712 bytes with SEH manipulation to trigger a bind shell connection on a specified local port. |
| Cmder Console Emulator 1.3.18 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger a denial of service condition through a maliciously crafted .cmd file. Attackers can create a specially constructed .cmd file with repeated characters to overwhelm the console emulator's buffer and crash the application. |
| A vulnerability in the implementation of the CLI on a device that is running ConfD could allow an authenticated, local attacker to perform a command injection attack.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of a process argument on an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting commands during the execution of this process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with the privilege level of ConfD, which is commonly root. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface and in the API subsystem of Cisco Tetration could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands to be executed with root-level privileges on the underlying operating system.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted HTTP message to the affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands with root-level privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid administrator-level credentials.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| Cypress Solutions CTM-200 2.7.1 contains an authenticated command injection vulnerability in the firmware upgrade script that allows remote attackers to execute shell commands. Attackers can exploit the 'fw_url' parameter in the ctm-config-upgrade.sh script to inject and execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. |
| COMMAX WebViewer ActiveX Control 2.1.4.5 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by providing excessively long string arrays through multiple functions. Attackers can exploit boundary errors in Commax_WebViewer.ocx to cause buffer overflow conditions and potentially gain code execution. |
| COMMAX UMS Client ActiveX Control 1.7.0.2 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by providing excessively long string arrays through multiple functions. Attackers can exploit improper boundary validation in CNC_Ctrl.dll to cause heap corruption and potentially gain system-level access. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in lib/NSSDropoff.php in ZendTo 5.24-3 through 6.x before 6.10-7 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the tmp_name parameter when dropping off a file via a POST /dropoff request. |
| meterN 1.2.3 contains an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability in admin_meter2.php and admin_indicator2.php scripts. Attackers can exploit the 'COMMANDx' and 'LIVECOMMANDx' POST parameters to execute arbitrary system commands with administrative privileges. |
| OS Command Injection in iSTAR Ultra products web application allows an authenticated attacker to gain even more privileged access ('root' user) to the device firmware. |
| Remote Command program allows an attacker to get Remote Code Execution. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability exists that could cause command injection in BLMon that is executed in the operating system console when in a SSH session. |
| CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability exists that could cause the execution of any shell command when executing a netstat command using BLMon Console in an SSH session. |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability affecting Station Launcher App in 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x through Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2025x could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the user's machine. |
