Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - OAuth Extension allows Authentication Bypass. This issue affects Mediawiki - OAuth Extension: from 1.39 through 1.43.
| A security vulnerability in the /apis/dashboard.grafana.app/* endpoints allows authenticated users to bypass dashboard and folder permissions. The vulnerability affects all API versions (v0alpha1, v1alpha1, v2alpha1).
Impact:
- Viewers can view all dashboards/folders regardless of permissions
- Editors can view/edit/delete all dashboards/folders regardless of permissions
- Editors can create dashboards in any folder regardless of permissions
- Anonymous users with viewer/editor roles are similarly affected
Organization isolation boundaries remain intact. The vulnerability only affects dashboard access and does not grant access to datasources. |
Missing Authorization vulnerability in Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer (Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer detail view component). This issue affects Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer: from 10.0.0-00 before 11.0.4-00.
An Improper Authorization vulnerability was identified in the EOL OVA based connect component which is deployed for installation purposes in the customer internal network. Under certain conditions, this could allow a bad actor to gain unauthorized access to the local db containing weakly hashed credentials of the installer. This EOL component was deprecated in September 2023 with end of support extended till January 2024.
| The Prevent Direct Access – Protect WordPress Files plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access and modification of data| due to a misconfigured capability check on the 'pda_lite_custom_permission_check' function in versions 2.8.6 to 2.8.8.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to access and change the protection status of media. |
Broken access control in Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT prior to 7.8.1 allows an attacker to create a denial of service situation when configured to use GoAnywhere One-Time Password (GOTP) email two-factor authentication (2FA) and the user has not set an email address. In this scenario, the attacker may enter the email address of a known user when prompted and the user will be disabled if that user has configured GOTP.
The WP Statistics – The Most Popular Privacy-Friendly Analytics Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the 'optionUpdater' function in all versions up to, and including, 14.13.3. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary plugin settings.
A missing authorization vulnerability in Lexmark Cloud Services badge management allows attacker to reassign badges within their organization
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in dazhouda lecms 3.0.3. This affects an unknown part of the file /index.php?my-profile-ajax-1 of the component Personal Information Page. The manipulation leads to cross-site request forgery. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Registry Access Management (RAM) is a security feature allowing administrators to restrict access for their developers to only allowed registries. When a MacOS configuration profile is used to enforce organization sign-in, the RAM policies are not being applied, which would allow Docker Desktop users to pull down unapproved, and potentially malicious images from any registry.
A vulnerability exists in the NodeRestriction admission controller where nodes can bypass dynamic resource allocation authorization checks. When the DynamicResourceAllocation feature gate is enabled, the controller properly validates resource claim statuses during pod status updates but fails to perform equivalent validation during pod creation. This allows a compromised node to create mirror pods that access unauthorized dynamic resources, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
A Missing Authorization vulnerability in SUSE Linux Manager allows anyone with the ability to connect to port 443 of SUSE Manager is able to run any command as root on any client. This issue affects Container suse/manager/5.0/x86_64/server:5.0.5.7.30.1: from ? before 5.0.27-150600.3.33.1; Image SLES15-SP4-Manager-Server-4-3-BYOS: from ? before 4.3.87-150400.3.110.2; Image SLES15-SP4-Manager-Server-4-3-BYOS-Azure: from ? before 4.3.87-150400.3.110.2; Image SLES15-SP4-Manager-Server-4-3-BYOS-EC2: from ? before 4.3.87-150400.3.110.2; Image SLES15-SP4-Manager-Server-4-3-BYOS-GCE: from ? before 4.3.87-150400.3.110.2; SUSE Manager Server Module 4.3: from ? before 4.3.87-150400.3.110.2.
openmrs-module-fhir2 provides the FHIR REST API and related services for OpenMRS, an open medical records system. In versions of the FHIR2 module prior to 2.5.0, privileges were not always correctly checked, which means that unauthorized users may have been able to add or edit data they were not supposed to be able to. All implementers should update to FHIR2 2.5.0 or newer as soon as is feasible to receive a patch.
Alchemy's Modular Account is a smart contract account that is compatible with ERC-4337 and ERC-6900. In versions on the 2.x branch prior to commit 5e6f540d249afcaeaf76ab95517d0359fde883b0, owners of Modular Accounts can grant session keys (scoped external keys) to external parties and would use the allowlist module to restrict which external contracts can be accessed by the session key. There is a bug in the allowlist module in that we don't check for the `executeUserOp` -> `execute` or `executeBatch` path, effectively allowing any session key to bypass any access control restrictions set on the session key. Session keys are able to access ERC20 and ERC721 token contracts amongst others, transferring all tokens from the account out andonfigure the permissions on external modules on session keys. They would be able to remove all restrictions set on themselves this way, or rotate the keys of other keys with higher privileges into keys that they control. Commit 5e6f540d249afcaeaf76ab95517d0359fde883b0 fixes this issue.
The Open edX Platform is a learning management platform. Prior to commit 6740e75c0fdc7ba095baf88e9f5e4f3e15cfd8ba, edxapp has no built-in protection against downloading the python_lib.zip asset from courses, which is a concern since it often contains custom grading code or answers to course problems. This potentially affects any course using custom Python-graded problem blocks. The openedx/configuration repo has had a patch since 2016 in the form of an nginx rule, but this was only intended as a temporary mitigation. As the configuration repo has been deprecated and we have not been able to locate any similar protection in Tutor, it is likely that most deployments have no protection against python_lib.zip being downloaded. The recommended mitigation, implemented in commit 6740e75c0fdc7ba095baf88e9f5e4f3e15cfd8ba, restricts python_lib.zip downloads to just the course team and site staff/superusers.
Aikaan IoT management platform v3.25.0325-5-g2e9c59796 provides a configuration to disable user sign-up in distributed deployments by hiding the sign-up option on the login page UI. However, the sign-up API endpoint remains publicly accessible and functional, allowing unauthenticated users to register accounts via APIs even when the feature is disabled. This leads to authentication bypass and unauthorized access to admin portals, violating intended access controls.
| The REST API | Custom API Generator For Cross Platform And Import Export In WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation due to a missing capability check on the process_handler() function in versions 1.0.0 to 2.0.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to POST an arbitrary import_api URL, import specially crafted JSON, and thereby create a new user with full Administrator privileges. |
Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. When using an ACL on a device connected to a bridge, Incus versions 6.12 and 6.13generates nftables rules that partially bypass security options `security.mac_filtering`, `security.ipv4_filtering` and `security.ipv6_filtering`. This can lead to ARP spoofing on the bridge and to fully spoof another VM/container on the same bridge. Commit 254dfd2483ab8de39b47c2258b7f1cf0759231c8 contains a patch for the issue.
Yealink RPS before 2025-05-26 does not prevent OpenAPI access by frozen enterprise accounts, allowing unauthorized access to deactivated interfaces.
HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Prior to 0.20.1, HomeBox contains a missing authorization check in the API endpoints responsible for updating and deleting inventory item attachments. This flaw allows authenticated users to perform unauthorized actions on inventory item attachments that they do not own. This issue could lead to unauthorized data manipulation or loss of critical inventory data. This issue has been patched in version 0.20.1. There are no workarounds, users must upgrade.
