CVSS v3.1 |
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in OSIsoft PI Server 2017 PI Data Archive versions prior to 2017. PI Network Manager using older protocol versions contains a flaw that could allow a malicious user to authenticate with a server and then cause PI Network Manager to behave in an undefined manner.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in Phoenix Contact GmbH mGuard firmware versions 8.3.0 to 8.4.2. An attacker may be able to gain unauthorized access to the user firewall when RADIUS servers are unreachable.
In EMC RSA Authentication Manager 8.2 SP1 Patch 1 and earlier, a malicious user logged into the Self-Service Console of RSA Authentication Manager as a target user can use a brute force attack to attempt to identify that user's PIN. The malicious user could potentially reset the compromised PIN to affect victim's ability to obtain access to protected resources.
A specific device configuration can result in a commit failure condition. When this occurs, a user is logged in without being prompted for a password while trying to login through console, ssh, ftp, telnet or su, etc., This issue relies upon a device configuration precondition to occur. Typically, device configurations are the result of a trusted administrative change to the system's running configuration. The following error messages may be seen when this failure occurs: mgd: error: commit failed: (statements constraint check failed) Warning: Commit failed, activating partial configuration. Warning: Edit the router configuration to fix these errors. If the administrative changes are not made that result in such a failure, then this issue is not seen. No other Juniper Networks products or platforms are affected by this issue. Affected releases are Juniper Networks Junos OS 12.3 prior to 12.3R10, 12.3R11; 12.3X48 prior to 12.3X48-D20; 13.2 prior to 13.2R8; 13.3 prior to 13.3R7; 14.1 prior to 14.1R4-S12, 14.1R5, 14.1R6; 14.1X53 prior to 14.1X53-D30; 14.2 prior to 14.2R4; 15.1 prior to 15.1F2, 15.1F3, 15.1R2.
Lack of authentication and authorization of cluster messages in Juniper Networks Junos Space may allow a man-in-the-middle type of attacker to intercept, inject or disrupt Junos Space cluster operations between two nodes. Affected releases are Juniper Networks Junos Space all versions prior to 17.1R1.
360fly 4K cameras allow unauthenticated Wi-Fi password changes and complete access with REST by using the Bluetooth Low Energy pairing procedure, which is available at any time and does not require a password. This affects firmware 2.1.4. Exploitation can use the 360fly Android or iOS application, or the BlueZ gatttool program.
An authentication bypass vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos Space Network Management Platform may allow a remote unauthenticated network based attacker to login as any privileged user. This issue only affects Junos Space Network Management Platform 17.1R1 without Patch v1 and 16.1 releases prior to 16.1R3. This issue was found by an external security researcher.
OpenDaylight Karaf 0.6.1-Carbon fails to clear the cache after a password change, allowing the old password to be used until the Karaf cache is manually cleared (e.g. via restart).
Elastic X-Pack Security versions 5.0.0 to 5.4.0 contain a privilege escalation bug in the run_as functionality. This bug prevents transitioning into the specified user specified in a run_as request. If a role has been created using a template that contains the _user properties, the behavior of run_as will be incorrect. Additionally if the run_as user specified does not exist, the transition will not happen.
An error was found in the X-Pack Security 5.3.0 to 5.5.2 privilege enforcement. If a user has either 'delete' or 'index' permissions on an index in a cluster, they may be able to issue both delete and index requests against that index.
An error was found in the permission model used by X-Pack Alerting 5.0.0 to 5.6.0 whereby users mapped to certain built-in roles could create a watch that results in that user gaining elevated privileges.
Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allow an attacker to run processes in an elevated context when the Windows kernel improperly handles objects in memory, aka "Win32k Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability." This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8468.
Windows Cursor in Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and Windows Server 2016 allows improper elevation of privilege, aka "Windows Cursor Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability".
Graphics in Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 and R2, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an elevation of privilege vulnerability due to the way it handles objects in memory, aka "Win32k Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability".
Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allow an attacker to run processes in an elevated context when the Windows kernel improperly handles objects in memory, aka "Win32k Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability." This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8465.
Microsoft Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allow a locally-authenticated attacker to run a specially crafted application on a targeted system when Windows Secure Kernel Mode fails to properly handle objects in memory, aka "Windows Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability".
Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 and R2, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an attacker to bypass Extended Protection for Authentication when Kerberos fails to prevent tampering with the SNAME field during ticket exchange, aka "Kerberos SNAME Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability" or Orpheus' Lyre.
forgotpassword.php in GeniXCMS 1.0.2 lacks a rate limit, which might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (login inability) or possibly conduct Arbitrary User Password Reset attacks via a series of requests.
Missing authentication for the remote configuration port 1236/tcp on the Cohu 3960HD allows an attacker to change configuration parameters such as IP address and username/password via specially crafted XML SOAP packets.
Dolibarr ERP/CRM 4.0.4 allows password changes without supplying the current password, which makes it easier for physically proximate attackers to obtain access via an unattended workstation.
