| ServiceNow has addressed an authorization bypass vulnerability that was identified in the Washington release of the Now Platform. This vulnerability, if exploited, potentially could enable an authenticated user to access unauthorized data stored within the Now Platform that the user otherwise would not be entitled to access.
This issue is addressed in the listed patches and family release, which have been made available to hosted and self-hosted customers, as well as partners. |
| Swift ASN.1 can be caused to crash when parsing certain BER/DER constructions. This crash is caused by a confusion in the ASN.1 library itself which assumes that certain objects can only be provided in either constructed or primitive forms, and will trigger a preconditionFailure if that constraint isn't met.
Importantly, these constraints are actually required to be true in DER, but that correctness wasn't enforced on the early node parser side so it was incorrect to rely on it later on in decoding, which is what the library did.
These crashes can be triggered when parsing any DER/BER format object. There is no memory-safety issue here: the crash is a graceful one from the Swift runtime. The impact of this is that it can be used as a denial-of-service vector when parsing BER/DER data from unknown sources, e.g. when parsing TLS certificates. |
| Cross-site scripting vulnerability in NEC Corporation Aterm WG2600HS Ver.1.7.2 and earlier, WG2600HP4 Ver.1.4.2 and earlier, WG2600HM4 Ver.1.4.2 and earlier, WG2600HS2 Ver.1.3.2 and earlier, WX3000HP Ver.2.4.2 and earlier and WX4200D5 Ver.1.2.4 and earlier allows a attacker to inject an arbitrary script via the network. |
| Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in NEC Corporation Aterm WG2600HS Ver.1.7.2 and earlier, WF1200CRS Ver.1.6.0 and earlier, WG1200CRS Ver.1.5.0 and earlier, GB1200PE Ver.1.3.0 and earlier, WG2600HP4 Ver.1.4.2 and earlier, WG2600HM4 Ver.1.4.2 and earlier, WG2600HS2 Ver.1.3.2 and earlier, WX3000HP Ver.2.4.2 and earlier and WX4200D5 Ver.1.2.4 and earlier allows a attacker to get a Wi-Fi password via the network. |
| NEC Corporation Aterm WX1500HP Ver.1.4.2 and earlier and WX3600HP Ver.1.5.3 and earlier allows a attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands via the network. |
| Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') vulnerability in HYPR Passwordless on Windows allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects HYPR Passwordless: before 10.1. |
| Valmet DNA user passwords in plain text. This practice poses a security risk as attackers who gain access to local project data can read the passwords. |
| In versions 3.1.0 and lower of the Splunk Supporting Add-on for Active Directory, also known as SA-ldapsearch, a vulnerable regular expression pattern could lead to a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attack. |
| On 64-bit systems, the implementation of VOP_VPTOFH() in the cd9660, tarfs and ext2fs filesystems overflows the destination FID buffer by 4 bytes, a stack buffer overflow.
A NFS server that exports a cd9660, tarfs, or ext2fs file system can be made to panic by mounting and accessing the export with an NFS client. Further exploitation (e.g., bypassing file permission checking or remote kernel code execution) is potentially possible, though this has not been demonstrated. In particular, release kernels are compiled with stack protection enabled, and some instances of the overflow are caught by this mechanism, causing a panic. |
| When etcupdate encounters conflicts while merging files, it saves a version containing conflict markers in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This version does not preserve the mode of the input file, and is world-readable. This applies to files that would normally have restricted visibility, such as /etc/master.passwd.
An unprivileged local user may be able to read encrypted root and user passwords from the temporary master.passwd file created in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This is possible only when conflicts within the password file arise during an update, and the unprotected file is deleted when conflicts are resolved. |
| Lack of protection against brute force attacks in Valmet DNA visualization in DNA Operate. The possibility to make an arbitrary number of login attempts without any rate limit gives an attacker an increased chance of guessing passwords and then performing switching operations. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in exelban stats up to 2.11.21. This issue affects the function shouldAcceptNewConnection of the component XPC Service. The manipulation leads to command injection. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. Upgrading to version 2.11.22 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in reckcn SPPanAdmin 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /;/admin/role/edit. The manipulation of the argument name leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Other parameters might be affected as well. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability has been found in longpi1 warehouse 1.0 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /resources/..;/inport/updateInport of the component Backend. The manipulation of the argument remark leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability has been found in liujianview gymxmjpa 1.0 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects the function CoachController of the file src/main/java/com/liujian/gymxmjpa/controller/CoachController.java. The manipulation of the argument coachName leads to sql injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A remote attacker with web administrator privileges can exploit the device’s web interface to execute arbitrary system commands through the NTP settings. Successful exploitation may result in the device entering an infinite reboot loop, leading to a total or partial denial of connectivity for downstream systems that rely on its network services. |
| Local privilege escalation through insecure DCOM configuration in Valmet DNA versions prior to C2023. The DCOM object Valmet DNA Engineering has permissions that allow it to run commands as a user with the SeImpersonatePrivilege privilege. The SeImpersonatePrivilege privilege is a Windows permission that allows a process to impersonate another user. An attacker can use this vulnerability to escalate their privileges and take complete control of the system. |
| An authenticated user in the "bestinformed Web" application can execute commands on the underlying server running the application. (Remote Code Execution) For this, the user must be able to create "ScriptVars" with the type „script" and preview them by, for example, creating a new "Info". By default, admin users have those permissions, but with the granular permission system, those permissions may be assigned to other users. An attacker is able to execute commands on the server running the "bestinformed Web" application if an account with the correct permissions was compromised before. |
| In the "bestinformed Web" application, some user input was not properly sanitized. This leads to multiple unauthenticated stored cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. An unauthenticated attacker is able to compromise the sessions of users on the server by injecting JavaScript code into their session using an "Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting". The attacker is then able to ride the session of those users and can abuse their privileges on the "bestinformed Web" application. |
| In the "bestinformed Web" application, some user input was not properly sanitized. This leads to multiple authenticated stored cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. An authenticated attacker is able to compromise the sessions of other users on the server by injecting JavaScript code into their session using an "Authenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting". Those other users might have more privileges than the attacker, enabling a form of horizontal movement. |
