CVSS v3.1 |
| Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in OpenText™ Directory Services allows Object Injection.
The vulnerability could lead to remote code execution, denial of service, or privilege escalation.
This issue affects Directory Services: before 24.4.16, from 25.1 before 25.1.9, from 25.2 before 25.2.9, from 25.3 before 25.3.8, from 25.4 before 25.4.5, from 26.1 before 26.1.2. |
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in b1gMail up to 7.4.1-pl1. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file src/admin/users.php of the component Admin Page. The manipulation of the argument query/q leads to deserialization. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 7.4.1-pl2 is able to address this issue. The identifier of the patch is 4816c8b748f6a5b965c8994e2cf10861bf6e68aa. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The vendor acted highly professional and even fixed this issue in the discontinued commercial edition as b1gMail 7.4.0-pl3.

CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability exists that could cause remote code
execution when a malicious project file is loaded into the application by a valid user.

sagemaker-python-sdk is a library for training and deploying machine learning models on Amazon SageMaker. The sagemaker.base_deserializers.NumpyDeserializer module before v2.218.0 allows potentially unsafe deserialization when untrusted data is passed as pickled object arrays. This consequently may allow an unprivileged third party to cause remote code execution, denial of service, affecting both confidentiality and integrity. Users are advised to upgrade to version 2.218.0. Users unable to upgrade should not pass pickled numpy object arrays which originated from an untrusted source, or that could have been tampered with. Only pass pickled numpy object arrays from trusted sources.
Open source machine learning framework. A vulnerability has been identified in Rasa that enables an attacker who has the ability to load a maliciously crafted model remotely into a Rasa instance to achieve Remote Code Execution. The prerequisites for this are: 1. The HTTP API must be enabled on the Rasa instance eg with `--enable-api`. This is not the default configuration. 2. For unauthenticated RCE to be exploitable, the user must not have configured any authentication or other security controls recommended in our documentation. 3. For authenticated RCE, the attacker must posses a valid authentication token or JWT to interact with the Rasa API. This issue has been addressed in rasa version 3.6.21 and all users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should ensure that they require authentication and that only trusted users are given access.
NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM for any platform contains a vulnerability in python executor where an attacker may cause a data validation issue by local access to the TRTLLM server. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to code execution, information disclosure and data tampering.
The Last Viewed Posts by WPBeginner plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.0 via deserialization of untrusted input from the LastViewedPosts Cookie. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable plugin. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
The sr_feuser_register extension through 12.4.8 for TYPO3 allows Remote Code Execution.
The Advanced Ads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.52.1 via deserialization of untrusted input in the 'placement_slug' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No POP chain is present in the vulnerable plugin. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software. In versions 6.3.0 to 6.7.1, there is a deserialization issue in the read method of the SparseMatrix class that can lead to a wide range of privilege escalations depending on the circumstances. This method takes in an InputStream and returns a SparseMatrix object. This issue has been patched in com.powsybl:powsybl-math: 6.7.2. A workaround for this issue involves not using SparseMatrix deserialization (SparseMatrix.read(...) methods).
IBM Langflow Desktop 1.6.0 through 1.8.2 Langflow could allow an authenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an insecure default setting which permits the deserialization of untrusted data in the FAISS component.
An issue was discovered in Roundcube Webmail before 1.5.14 and 1.6.14. Unsafe deserialization in the redis/memcache session handler may lead to arbitrary file write operations by unauthenticated attackers via crafted session data.
Kedro is a toolbox for production-ready data science. Prior to 1.3.0, Kedro allows the logging configuration file path to be set via the KEDRO_LOGGING_CONFIG environment variable and loads it without validation. The logging configuration schema supports the special () key, which enables arbitrary callable instantiation. An attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary system commands during application startup. This is a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability caused by unsafe use of logging.config.dictConfig() with user-controlled input. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.0.
Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network.
Microsoft Exchange Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
A vulnerability in the task management component of Sonatype Nexus Repository versions 3.22.1 through 3.90.2 allows an authenticated attacker with task creation permissions to execute arbitrary code, bypassing the nexus.scripts.allowCreation security control.
A denial of service vulnerability exists in React Server Components, affecting the following packages: react-server-dom-parcel, react-server-dom-turbopack and react-server-dom-webpack (versions 19.0.0 through 19.0.4, 19.1.0 through 19.1.5, and 19.2.0 through 19.2.4). The vulnerability is triggered by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to Server Function endpoints. The payload of the HTTP request causes excessive CPU usage for up to a minute ending in a thrown error that is catchable.
The Performance Library component of Gigabyte Control Center has an Insecure Deserialization vulnerability. Authenticated local attackers can send a malicious serialized payload to the EasyTune Engine service, resulting in privilege escalation.
NVIDIA DALI contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a deserialization of untrusted data. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to arbitrary code execution.
The Everest Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.3 via deserialization of untrusted input from form entry metadata. This is due to the html-admin-page-entries-view.php file calling PHP's native unserialize() on stored entry meta values without passing the allowed_classes parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a serialized PHP object payload through any public Everest Forms form field. The payload survives sanitize_text_field() sanitization (serialization control characters are not stripped) and is stored in the wp_evf_entrymeta database table. When an administrator views entries or views an individual entry, the unsafe unserialize() call processes the stored data without class restrictions.
