CVSS v3.1 |
Integer overflow in the jpc_pi_nextcprl function in jpc_t2cod.c in JasPer before 1.900.20 allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact via a crafted file, which triggers use of an uninitialized value.
An issue was discovered in Erlang/OTP 18.x. Erlang's generation of compiled regular expressions is vulnerable to a heap overflow. Regular expressions using a malformed extpattern can indirectly specify an offset that is used as an array index. This ordinal permits arbitrary regions within the erts_alloc arena to be both read and written to.
Heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the opj_mqc_byteout function in mqc.c in OpenJPEG before 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted bmp file.
The III_i_stereo function in layer3.c in mpglib, as used in libmpgdecoder.a in LAME 3.99.5 and other products, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer over-read and application crash) via a crafted audio file that is mishandled in the code for the "block_type == 2" case, a similar issue to CVE-2017-11126.
It was discovered that the zebra daemon in Quagga before 1.0.20161017 suffered from a stack-based buffer overflow when processing IPv6 Neighbor Discovery messages. The root cause was relying on BUFSIZ to be compatible with a message size; however, BUFSIZ is system-dependent.
The DBD::mysql module before 4.039 for Perl, when using server-side prepared statement support, allows attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via vectors involving an unaligned number of placeholders in WHERE condition and output fields in SELECT expression.
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, macOS Monterey 12.5. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
In versions prior to 0.8.1, the linux-loader crate uses the offsets and sizes provided in the ELF headers to determine the offsets to read from. If those offsets point beyond the end of the file this could lead to Virtual Machine Monitors using the `linux-loader` crate entering an infinite loop if the ELF header of the kernel they are loading was modified in a malicious manner. This issue has been addressed in 0.8.1. The issue can be mitigated by ensuring that only trusted kernel images are loaded or by verifying that the headers do not point beyond the end of the file.
In MessageQueueBase of MessageQueueBase.h, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-13Android ID: A-247092734
In ufdt_get_node_by_path_len of ufdt_convert.c, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local information disclosure with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-13Android ID: A-246194233
In findParam of HevcUtils.cpp there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-13Android ID: A-230172711
Substance3D - Modeler versions 1.15.0 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
In pop_descriptor_string of BufferDescriptor.h, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local information disclosure with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-239415809References: N/A
In read_ppmpu_info of drm_fw.c, there is a possible out of bounds read due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-237585040References: N/A
In sec_sysmmu_info of drm_fw.c, there is a possible out of bounds read due to improper input validation. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-237582191References: N/A
Substance3D - Modeler versions 1.15.0 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

This could lead to local information disclosure with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-239700137References: N/A |
After Effects versions 25.1, 24.6.4 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
