CVE-2022-49875 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpftool: Fix NULL pointer dereference when pin {PROG, MAP, LINK} without FILE When using bpftool to pin {PROG, MAP, LINK} without FILE, segmentation fault will occur. The reson is that the lack of FILE will cause strlen to trigger NULL pointer dereference. The corresponding stacktrace is shown below: do_pin do_pin_any do_pin_fd mount_bpffs_for_pin strlen(name) <- NULL pointer dereference Fix it by adding validation to the common process.
CVE-2022-49869 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Fix possible crash in bnxt_hwrm_set_coal() During the error recovery sequence, the rtnl_lock is not held for the entire duration and some datastructures may be freed during the sequence. Check for the BNXT_STATE_OPEN flag instead of netif_running() to ensure that the device is fully operational before proceeding to reconfigure the coalescing settings. This will fix a possible crash like this: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000000 PGD 0 P4D 0 Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI CPU: 10 PID: 181276 Comm: ethtool Kdump: loaded Tainted: G IOE --------- - - 4.18.0-348.el8.x86_64 #1 Hardware name: Dell Inc. An issue was discovered in gpac version 2.3-DEV-rev588-g7edc40fee-master, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code, cause a denial of service (DoS), and obtain sensitive information via null pointer deference in gf_dash_setup_period component in media_tools/dash_client.c.
CVE-2023-52853 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hid: cp2112: Fix duplicate workqueue initialization Previously the cp2112 driver called INIT_DELAYED_WORK within cp2112_gpio_irq_startup, resulting in duplicate initilizations of the workqueue on subsequent IRQ startups following an initial request. This resulted in a warning in set_work_data in workqueue.c, as well as a rare NULL dereference within process_one_work in workqueue.c. Initialize the workqueue within _probe instead.
CVE-2024-42100 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: sunxi-ng: common: Don't call hw_to_ccu_common on hw without common In order to set the rate range of a hw sunxi_ccu_probe calls hw_to_ccu_common() assuming all entries in desc->ccu_clks are contained in a ccu_common struct. This assumption is incorrect and, in consequence, causes invalid pointer de-references. Remove the faulty call. Instead, add one more loop that iterates over the ccu_clks and sets the rate range, if required.
CVE-2022-48811 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ibmvnic: don't release napi in __ibmvnic_open() If __ibmvnic_open() encounters an error such as when setting link state, it calls release_resources() which frees the napi structures needlessly. Instead, have __ibmvnic_open() only clean up the work it did so far (i.e. disable napi and irqs) and leave the rest to the callers. If caller of __ibmvnic_open() is ibmvnic_open(), it should release the resources immediately. If the caller is do_reset() or do_hard_reset(), they will release the resources on the next reset. This fixes following crash that occurred when running the drmgr command several times to add/remove a vnic interface: [102056] ibmvnic 30000003 env3: Disabling rx_scrq[6] irq [102056] ibmvnic 30000003 env3: Disabling rx_scrq[7] irq [102056] ibmvnic 30000003 env3: Replenished 8 pools Kernel attempted to read user page (10) - exploit attempt? CVE-2021-47523 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-09-24 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/hfi1: Fix leak of rcvhdrtail_dummy_kvaddr This buffer is currently allocated in hfi1_init(): if (reinit) ret = init_after_reset(dd); else ret = loadtime_init(dd); if (ret) goto done; /* allocate dummy tail memory for all receive contexts */ dd->rcvhdrtail_dummy_kvaddr = dma_alloc_coherent(&dd->pcidev->dev, sizeof(u64), &dd->rcvhdrtail_dummy_dma, GFP_KERNEL); if (!dd->rcvhdrtail_dummy_kvaddr) { dd_dev_err(dd, "cannot allocate dummy tail memory\n"); ret = -ENOMEM; goto done; } The reinit triggered path will overwrite the old allocation and leak it. Fix by moving the allocation to hfi1_alloc_devdata() and the deallocation to hfi1_free_devdata().
