| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter in the way a user triggers the nft_pipapo_remove function with the element, without a NFT_SET_EXT_KEY_END. This issue could allow a local user to crash the system or potentially escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49811 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-07 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drbd: use after free in drbd_create_device() The drbd_destroy_connection() frees the "connection" so use the _safe() iterator to prevent a use after free. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49775 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-11-07 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: cdg: allow tcp_cdg_release() to be called multiple times Apparently, mptcp is able to call tcp_disconnect() on an already disconnected flow. This is generally fine, unless current congestion control is CDG, because it might trigger a double-free [1] Instead of fixing MPTCP, and future bugs, we can make tcp_disconnect() more resilient. | CVE-2022-49779 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-07 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kprobes: Skip clearing aggrprobe's post_handler in kprobe-on-ftrace case In __unregister_kprobe_top(), if the currently unregistered probe has post_handler but other child probes of the aggrprobe do not have post_handler, the post_handler of the aggrprobe is cleared. If this is a ftrace-based probe, there is a problem. In later calls to disarm_kprobe(), we will use kprobe_ftrace_ops because post_handler is NULL. But we're armed with kprobe_ipmodify_ops. This triggers a WARN in __disarm_kprobe_ftrace() and may even cause use-after-free: Failed to disarm kprobe-ftrace at kernel_clone+0x0/0x3c0 (error -2) WARNING: CPU: 5 PID: 137 at kernel/kprobes.c:1135 __disarm_kprobe_ftrace.isra.21+0xcf/0xe0 Modules linked in: testKprobe_007(-) CPU: 5 PID: 137 Comm: rmmod Not tainted 6.1.0-rc4-dirty #18 [...] Call Trace: <TASK> __disable_kprobe+0xcd/0xe0 __unregister_kprobe_top+0x12/0x150 ? mutex_lock+0xe/0x30 unregister_kprobes.part.23+0x31/0xa0 unregister_kprobe+0x32/0x40 __x64_sys_delete_module+0x15e/0x260 ? do_user_addr_fault+0x2cd/0x6b0 do_syscall_64+0x3a/0x90 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x63/0xcd [...] For the kprobe-on-ftrace case, we keep the post_handler setting to identify this aggrprobe armed with kprobe_ipmodify_ops. | CVE-2024-1454 | 3 Fedoraproject, Opensc Project, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-07 | 3.4 Low |
| The use-after-free vulnerability was found in the AuthentIC driver in OpenSC packages, occuring in the card enrolment process using pkcs15-init when a user or administrator enrols or modifies cards. An attacker must have physical access to the computer system and requires a crafted USB device or smart card to present the system with specially crafted responses to the APDUs, which are considered high complexity and low severity. This manipulation can allow for compromised card management operations during enrolment. | ||||
| CVE-2025-37763 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: take paired job reference For paired jobs, have the fragment job take a reference on the geometry job, so that the geometry job cannot be freed until the fragment job has finished with it. The geometry job structure is accessed when the fragment job is being prepared by the GPU scheduler. Taking the reference prevents the geometry job being freed until the fragment job no longer requires it. | CVE-2025-23142 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: detect and prevent references to a freed transport in sendmsg sctp_sendmsg() re-uses associations and transports when possible by doing a lookup based on the socket endpoint and the message destination address, and then sctp_sendmsg_to_asoc() sets the selected transport in all the message chunks to be sent. There's a possible race condition if another thread triggers the removal of that selected transport, for instance, by explicitly unbinding an address with setsockopt(SCTP_SOCKOPT_BINDX_REM), after the chunks have been set up and before the message is sent. This can happen if the send buffer is full, during the period when the sender thread temporarily releases the socket lock in sctp_wait_for_sndbuf(). This causes the access to the transport data in sctp_outq_select_transport(), when the association outqueue is flushed, to result in a use-after-free read. This change avoids this scenario by having sctp_transport_free() signal the freeing of the transport, tagging it as "dead". In order to do this, the patch restores the "dead" bit in struct sctp_transport, which was removed in commit 47faa1e4c50e ("sctp: remove the dead field of sctp_transport"). Then, in the scenario where the sender thread has released the socket lock in sctp_wait_for_sndbuf(), the bit is checked again after re-acquiring the socket lock to detect the deletion. This is done while holding a reference to the transport to prevent it from being freed in the process. If the transport was deleted while the socket lock was relinquished, sctp_sendmsg_to_asoc() will return -EAGAIN to let userspace retry the send. The bug was found by a private syzbot instance (see the error report [1] and the C reproducer that triggers it [2]). | ||||
| CVE-2025-57108 | 1 Vtk | 1 Vtk | 2025-11-05 | 9.8 Critical |
| Kitware VTK (Visualization Toolkit) through 9.5.0 contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability in vtkGLTFDocumentLoader. The vulnerability manifests during mesh object copy operations where vector members are accessed after the underlying memory has been freed, specifically when handling GLTF files with corrupted or invalid mesh reference structures. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36971 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: fix __dst_negative_advice() race __dst_negative_advice() does not enforce proper RCU rules when sk->dst_cache must be cleared, leading to possible UAF. RCU rules are that we must first clear sk->sk_dst_cache, then call dst_release(old_dst). Note that sk_dst_reset(sk) is implementing this protocol correctly, while __dst_negative_advice() uses the wrong order. Given that ip6_negative_advice() has special logic against RTF_CACHE, this means each of the three ->negative_advice() existing methods must perform the sk_dst_reset() themselves. Note the check against NULL dst is centralized in __dst_negative_advice(), there is no need to duplicate it in various callbacks. Many thanks to Clement Lecigne for tracking this issue. This old bug became visible after the blamed commit, using UDP sockets. | ||||

| CVE-2025-52886 | 2 Freedesktop, Poppler | 2 Poppler, Poppler | 2025-11-04 | 5.9 Medium |
| Poppler is a PDF rendering library. Versions prior to 25.06.0 use `std::atomic_int` for reference counting. Because `std::atomic_int` is only 32 bits, it is possible to overflow the reference count and trigger a use-after-free. Version 25.06.0 patches the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2025-11465 | 2 Ashlar, Ashlar Vellum | 2 Cobalt, Cobalt | 2025-11-04 | 7.8 High |
| Ashlar-Vellum Cobalt CO File Parsing Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Ashlar-Vellum Cobalt. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of CO files. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-26631. | ||||
