CVSS v3.1 |
Umbraco is an ASP.NET CMS. From 14.0.0 to before 16.5.1 and 17.2.2, A broken object-level authorization vulnerability exists in a backoffice API endpoint that allows authenticated users to assign domain-related data to content nodes without proper authorization checks. The issue is caused by insufficient authorization enforcement on the affected API endpoint, whereby via an API call, domains can be set on content nodes that the editor does not have permission to access (either via user group privileges or start nodes). This vulnerability is fixed in 16.5.1 and 17.2.2.

The SupportCandy – Helpdesk & Customer Support Ticket System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.4 via the 'add_reply' function due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to steal file attachments uploaded by other users by specifying arbitrary attachment IDs in the 'description_attachments' parameter, re-associating those files to their own tickets and removing access from the original owners.

The ProfileGrid – User Profiles, Groups and Communities plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.9.7.2 via the 'pm_upload_image' and 'pm_upload_cover_image' AJAX actions. This is due to the update_user_meta() function being called outside of the user authorization check in public/partials/crop.php and public/partials/coverimg_crop.php. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to change any user's profile picture or cover image, including administrators.

SMTP service in Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, and Exchange 2000 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a command with a malformed data transfer (BDAT) request.
Windows 2000 allows local users to prevent the application of new group policy settings by opening Group Policy files with exclusive-read access.
prefs.php in phpBB 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code via an invalid language value, which prevents the variables (1) $l_statsblock in prefs.php or (2) $l_privnotify in auth.php from being properly initialized, which can be modified by the user and later used in an eval statement.
Opera Browser 7.23, and other versions before 7.50, updates the address bar as soon as the user clicks a link, which allows remote attackers to redirect to other sites via the onUnload attribute.
The Server Message Block (SMB) driver (MRXSMB.SYS) in Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 and SP2, and Server 2003 SP1 and earlier allows local users to cause a denial of service (hang) by calling the MrxSmbCscIoctlCloseForCopyChunk with the file handle of the shadow device, which results in a deadlock, aka the "SMB Invalid Handle Vulnerability."
Linux SCTP (lksctp) before 2.6.17 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (deadlock) via a large number of small messages to a receiver application that cannot process the messages quickly enough, which leads to "spillover of the receive buffer."
