CVE-2026-64292 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Move vevent memory allocation outside spinlock The veventq memory allocation happens inside the spinlock. Given its depth is decided by the user space, this leaves a vulnerability, where userspace can allocate large queues to exhaust atomic memory reserves. Move the allocation outside the spinlock and use GFP_NOWAIT, which can fail fast under memory pressure without dipping into the GFP_ATOMIC reserves or direct-reclaiming from the threaded IRQ handler. On allocation failure, queue the lost_events_header (so userspace learns of the drop) and return -ENOMEM so the caller learns of the kernel-side memory pressure. This is intentionally distinct from the queue-overflow path, which also queues the lost_events_header but returns 0: a full queue is an expected userspace-pacing condition rather than a kernel error. A subsequent change will cap the upper bound of the veventq_depth.
CVE-2026-50011 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, RedisArrayAggregator pre-allocates ArrayList with initial capacity equal to the RESP array element count declared in an array header. That count is taken from the wire before the corresponding child messages exist. A small malicious header can claim a huge initial capacity. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-46340 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In versions of netty-transport-sctp prior to 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, for each non-complete SctpMessage fragment the handler does `fragments.put(streamId, Unpooled.wrappedBuffer(frag, byteBuf))`, wrapping the previous accumulator and the new slice into a *new* CompositeByteBuf every time. After N fragments the accumulator is an N-deep chain of composites, each holding references and component arrays; readableBytes()/getBytes() on the final buffer recurse N levels. There is no limit on N, on total bytes, or on the number of streamIdentifiers an attacker can open (each gets its own map entry). A peer that never sets the `complete` flag can grow this structure indefinitely from tiny 1-byte DATA chunks. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-44890 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-codec-redis prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, an attacker can cause DoS by sending crafted Redis payloads across multiple connections without `\r\n`. This exhausts the server's direct memory pool (OutOfDirectMemoryError), preventing legitimate connections from being processed. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-44250 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-codec-redis prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, an attacker can cause DoS by sending a crafted Redis payload with deeply nested arrays. This forces the server to allocate a massive number of state objects and collections, leading to memory exhaustion and an OutOfMemoryError. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.

CVE-2026-18649 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-08-11 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the GStreamer gst-plugins-good package. The rtph264depay and rtph265depay RTP depayloader elements do not enforce a maximum size limit on the reassembly buffer used during fragmented RTP packet processing. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a continuous stream of RTP fragments without ever transmitting an end-of-fragment marker, causing the reassembly buffer to grow without bound until process memory is exhausted. This results in a denial of service through process termination.

This vulnerability is due to improper traffic handling when platform limits are reached. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a high rate of UDP traffic through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause all new, incoming connections to be dropped, resulting in a DoS condition.
CVE-2022-20751 1 Cisco 23 Firepower 1000, Firepower 1010, Firepower 1020 and 20 more 2026-08-11 8.6 High
A vulnerability in the Snort detection engine integration for Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause unlimited memory consumption, which could lead to a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient memory management for certain Snort events. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of crafted IP packets that would generate specific Snort events on an affected device. A sustained attack could cause an out of memory condition on the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to interrupt all traffic flowing through the affected device. In some circumstances, the attacker may be able to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.
CVE-2022-20950 1 Cisco 1 Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 5.8 Medium
A vulnerability in the interaction of SIP and Snort 3 for Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 detection engine to restart. This vulnerability is due to a lack of error-checking when SIP bidirectional flows are being inspected by Snort 3. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a stream of crafted SIP traffic through an interface on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to trigger a restart of the Snort 3 process, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
CVE-2018-15399 1 Cisco 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 6.8 Medium
A vulnerability in the TCP syslog module of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to exhaust the 1550-byte buffers on an affected device, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a missing boundary check in an internal function. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by establishing a man-in-the-middle position between an affected device and its configured TCP syslog server and then maliciously modifying the TCP header in segments that are sent from the syslog server to the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust buffer on the affected device and cause all TCP-based features to stop functioning, resulting in a DoS condition. The affected TCP-based features include AnyConnect SSL VPN, clientless SSL VPN, and management connections such as Secure Shell (SSH), Telnet, and HTTPS.
CVE-2018-15383 1 Cisco 3 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Firepower Threat Defense, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 7.5 High
A vulnerability in the cryptographic hardware accelerator driver of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload, resulting in a temporary denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability exists because the affected devices have a limited amount of Direct Memory Access (DMA) memory and the affected software improperly handles resources in low-memory conditions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a sustained, high rate of malicious traffic to an affected device to exhaust memory on the device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust DMA memory on the affected device, which could cause the device to reload and result in a temporary DoS condition.
CVE-2019-1703 1 Cisco 5 Firepower 2110, Firepower 2120, Firepower 2130 and 2 more 2026-08-11 8.6 High

The vulnerability is due to a logic error, which may prevent ingress buffers from being replenished under specific traffic conditions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of crafted packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to consume all input buffers, which are shared between all interfaces, leading to a queue wedge condition in all active interfaces. This situation would cause an affected device to stop processing any incoming traffic and result in a DoS condition until the device is reloaded manually.
CVE-2026-18618 1 Redhat 1 Openshift Ai 2026-08-11 7.5 High
A flaw was found in ml-metadata. The statically-linked gRPC stack in ml-metadata is outdated, making it vulnerable to known HTTP/2 denial of service (DoS) issues. An in-cluster attacker, with network access to the MLMD pod, could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending specially crafted HTTP/2 requests. This could lead to a denial of service by crashing the MLMD pod, disrupting all pipeline runs in the affected namespace.

CVE-2026-64090 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tt: avoid empty VLAN responses The commit 16116dac2339 ("batman-adv: prevent TT request storms by not sending inconsistent TT TLVLs") added checks to the local (direct) TT response code. But the response can also be done indirectly by another node using the global TT state. To avoid such inconsistency states reported in the original fix, also avoid sending empty VLANs for replies from the global TT state.
