In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: xiic: xiic_xfer(): Fix runtime PM leak on error path The xiic_xfer() function gets a runtime PM reference when the function is entered. This reference is released when the function is exited. There is currently one error path where the function exits directly, which leads to a leak of the runtime PM reference. Make sure that this error path also releases the runtime PM reference.

The memory of the secondary address is leaked and the reference of in_device and net_device is leaked. Fix this problem: Look for 'last_prim' starting at location of the deleted IP and inserting the promoted IP into the location of 'last_prim'.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dpu: Disallow unallocated resources to be returned In the event that the topology requests resources that have not been created by the system (because they are typically not represented in dpu_mdss_cfg ^1), the resource(s) in global_state (in this case DSC blocks, until their allocation/assignment is being sanity-checked in "drm/msm/dpu: Reject topologies for which no DSC blocks are available") remain NULL but will still be returned out of dpu_rm_get_assigned_resources, where the caller expects to get an array containing num_blks valid pointers (but instead gets these NULLs). To prevent this from happening, where null-pointer dereferences typically result in a hard-to-debug platform lockup, num_blks shouldn't increase past NULL blocks and will print an error and break instead. After all, max_blks represents the static size of the maximum number of blocks whereas the actual amount varies per platform. ^1: which can happen after a git rebase ended up moving additions to _dpu_cfg to a different struct which has the same patch context. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix issue in verifying allow_ptr_leaks After we converted the capabilities of our networking-bpf program from cap_sys_admin to cap_net_admin+cap_bpf, our networking-bpf program failed to start. Because it failed the bpf verifier, and the error log is "R3 pointer comparison prohibited". ntfs3 in the Linux kernel through 6.8.0 allows a physically proximate attacker to read kernel memory by mounting a filesystem (e.g., if a Linux distribution is configured to allow unprivileged mounts of removable media) and then leveraging local access to trigger an out-of-bounds read. A length value can be larger than the amount of memory allocated. NOTE: the supplier's perspective is that there is no vulnerability when an attack requires an attacker-modified filesystem image.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: stm32-pwr: fix of_iomap leak Smatch reports: drivers/regulator/stm32-pwr.c:166 stm32_pwr_regulator_probe() warn: 'base' from of_iomap() not released on lines: 151,166. In stm32_pwr_regulator_probe(), base is not released when devm_kzalloc() fails to allocate memory or devm_regulator_register() fails to register a new regulator device, which may cause a leak. To fix this issue, replace of_iomap() with devm_platform_ioremap_resource(). devm_platform_ioremap_resource() is a specialized function for platform devices. It allows 'base' to be automatically released whether the probe function succeeds or fails. Besides, use IS_ERR(base) instead of !base as the return value of devm_platform_ioremap_resource() can either be a pointer to the remapped memory or an ERR_PTR() encoded error code if the operation fails.
