CVSS v3.1 |
Qemu, as used in Xen 4.0, 4.1 and possibly other products, when emulating certain devices with a virtual console backend, allows local OS guest users to gain privileges via a crafted escape VT100 sequence that triggers the overwrite of a "device model's address space."
The dissect_drda function in epan/dissectors/packet-drda.c in Wireshark 1.6.x through 1.6.10 and 1.8.x through 1.8.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and CPU consumption) via a small value for a certain length field in a capture file.
epan/dissectors/packet-usb.c in the USB dissector in Wireshark 1.6.x before 1.6.12 and 1.8.x before 1.8.4 relies on a length field to calculate an offset value, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a zero value for this field.
avahi-core/socket.c in avahi-daemon in Avahi before 0.6.29 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via an empty mDNS (1) IPv4 or (2) IPv6 UDP packet to port 5353. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incorrect fix for CVE-2010-2244.
ImageMagick 6.7.5-7 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and hang) via a crafted image whose IFD contains IOP tags that all reference the beginning of the IDF.
Off-by-one error in the elem_cell_id_aux function in epan/dissectors/packet-ansi_a.c in the ANSI MAP dissector in Wireshark 1.4.x before 1.4.8 and 1.6.x before 1.6.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via an invalid packet.
The Linux kernel before 2.6.37 does not properly implement a certain clock-update optimization, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (system hang) via an application that executes code in a loop.
Stack consumption vulnerability in the dissect_ber_choice function in the BER dissector in Wireshark 1.2.x through 1.2.15 and 1.4.x through 1.4.4 might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via vectors involving self-referential ASN.1 CHOICE values.
The inet_diag_bc_audit function in net/ipv4/inet_diag.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.39.3 does not properly audit INET_DIAG bytecode, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (kernel infinite loop) via crafted INET_DIAG_REQ_BYTECODE instructions in a netlink message, as demonstrated by an INET_DIAG_BC_JMP instruction with a zero yes value, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-3880.
Technitium DNS Server before 10.0 allows a self-CNAME denial-of-service attack in which a CNAME loop causes an answer to contain hundreds of records.
Copying sensitive information from Private Browsing tabs on Android, such as passwords, may have inadvertently stored data in the cloud-based clipboard history if enabled. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 133 and Thunderbird < 133.
When a file is processed, an infinite loop occurs in next_inline() of the more_curly() function.
An attacker was able to inject an event handler into a privileged object that would allow arbitrary JavaScript execution in the parent process. Note: This vulnerability affects Desktop Firefox only, it does not affect mobile versions of Firefox. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124.0.1 and Firefox ESR < 115.9.1.
An attacker could have executed unauthorized scripts on top origin sites using a JavaScript URI when opening an external URL with a custom Firefox scheme. This vulnerability affects Firefox for iOS < 123.
A flaw was found in libXpm. When processing a file with width of 0 and a very large height, some parser functions will be called repeatedly and can lead to an infinite loop, resulting in a Denial of Service in the application linked to the library.
A flaw was found in libXpm. This issue occurs when parsing a file with a comment not closed; the end-of-file condition will not be detected, leading to an infinite loop and resulting in a Denial of Service in the application linked to the library.
Denial of service in modem due to missing null check while processing IP packets with padding
The ccmweb component of Mitel MiContact Center Business server 9.2.2.0 through 9.4.1.0 could allow an unauthenticated attacker to download arbitrary files, due to insufficient restriction of URL parameters. A successful exploit could allow access to sensitive information.
Dell BSAFE SSL-J, versions prior to 6.6 and versions 7.0 through 7.2, contains a deadlock vulnerability. A remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to a Denial of Service.
An issue was discovered in drivers/media/dvb-core/dvb_frontend.c in the Linux kernel 6.2. There is a blocking operation when a task is in !TASK_RUNNING. In dvb_frontend_get_event, wait_event_interruptible is called; the condition is dvb_frontend_test_event(fepriv,events). In dvb_frontend_test_event, down(&fepriv->sem) is called. However, wait_event_interruptible would put the process to sleep, and down(&fepriv->sem) may block the process.
