CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mt76: Fix possible oob access in mt76_connac2_mac_write_txwi_80211()
Check frame length before accessing the mgmt fields in
mt76_connac2_mac_write_txwi_80211 in order to avoid a possible oob
access.
[fix check to also cover mgmt->u.action.u.addba_req.capab,
correct Fixes tag] |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Use correct version for UAC3 header validation
The entry of the validators table for UAC3 AC header descriptor is
defined with the wrong protocol version UAC_VERSION_2, while it should
have been UAC_VERSION_3. This results in the validator never matching
for actual UAC3 devices (protocol == UAC_VERSION_3), causing their
header descriptors to bypass validation entirely. A malicious USB
device presenting a truncated UAC3 header could exploit this to cause
out-of-bounds reads when the driver later accesses unvalidated
descriptor fields.
The bug was introduced in the same commit as the recently fixed UAC3
feature unit sub-type typo, and appears to be from the same copy-paste
error when the UAC3 section was created from the UAC2 section. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix a UAF issue in bpf_trampoline_link_cgroup_shim
The root cause of this bug is that when 'bpf_link_put' reduces the
refcount of 'shim_link->link.link' to zero, the resource is considered
released but may still be referenced via 'tr->progs_hlist' in
'cgroup_shim_find'. The actual cleanup of 'tr->progs_hlist' in
'bpf_shim_tramp_link_release' is deferred. During this window, another
process can cause a use-after-free via 'bpf_trampoline_link_cgroup_shim'.
Based on Martin KaFai Lau's suggestions, I have created a simple patch.
To fix this:
Add an atomic non-zero check in 'bpf_trampoline_link_cgroup_shim'.
Only increment the refcount if it is not already zero.
Testing:
I verified the fix by adding a delay in
'bpf_shim_tramp_link_release' to make the bug easier to trigger:
static void bpf_shim_tramp_link_release(struct bpf_link *link)
{
/* ... */
if (!shim_link->trampoline)
return;
+ msleep(100);
WARN_ON_ONCE(bpf_trampoline_unlink_prog(&shim_link->link,
shim_link->trampoline, NULL));
bpf_trampoline_put(shim_link->trampoline);
}
Before the patch, running a PoC easily reproduced the crash(almost 100%)
with a call trace similar to KaiyanM's report.
After the patch, the bug no longer occurs even after millions of
iterations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hwmon: (macsmc) Fix regressions in Apple Silicon SMC hwmon driver
The recently added macsmc-hwmon driver contained several critical
bugs in its sensor population logic and float conversion routines.
Specifically:
- The voltage sensor population loop used the wrong prefix ("volt-"
instead of "voltage-") and incorrectly assigned sensors to the
temperature sensor array (hwmon->temp.sensors) instead of the
voltage sensor array (hwmon->volt.sensors). This would lead to
out-of-bounds memory access or data corruption when both temperature
and voltage sensors were present.
- The float conversion in macsmc_hwmon_write_f32() had flawed exponent
logic for values >= 2^24 and lacked masking for the mantissa, which
could lead to incorrect values being written to the SMC.
Fix these issues to ensure correct sensor registration and reliable
manual fan control.
Confirm that the reported overflow in FIELD_PREP is fixed by declaring
macsmc_hwmon_write_f32() as __always_inline for a compile test. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mshv: Fix use-after-free in mshv_map_user_memory error path
In the error path of mshv_map_user_memory(), calling vfree() directly on
the region leaves the MMU notifier registered. When userspace later unmaps
the memory, the notifier fires and accesses the freed region, causing a
use-after-free and potential kernel panic.
Replace vfree() with mshv_partition_put() to properly unregister
the MMU notifier before freeing the region. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: cdc_ncm: add ndpoffset to NDP32 nframes bounds check
The same bounds-check bug fixed for NDP16 in the previous patch also
exists in cdc_ncm_rx_verify_ndp32(). The DPE array size is validated
against the total skb length without accounting for ndpoffset, allowing
out-of-bounds reads when the NDP32 is placed near the end of the NTB.
Add ndpoffset to the nframes bounds check and use struct_size_t() to
express the NDP-plus-DPE-array size more clearly.
Compile-tested only. |
| Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.3 contain a vulnerability in the query() plugin which allows access to all orgs with the user's current ACL token. This allows an authenticated GUI user with access in one org, to use the query() plugin, in a notebook cell, to run VQL queries on other orgs which they may not have access to. The user's permissions in the other org are
the same as the permissions they have in the org containing the notebook. |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 16.1.0 before 18.9.6, 18.10 before 18.10.4, and 18.11 before 18.11.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an unauthenticated user to access tokens in the Storybook development environment due to improper input validation. |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.10 before 18.10.4 and 18.11 before 18.11.1 that could have allowed an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a user's browser session due to improper path validation under certain conditions. |
| An out-of-bounds read in the read_global_param() function (libavcodec/av1dec.c) of FFmpeg v8.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input. |
| An improper resource deallocation and closure vulnerability in the tools/zmqsend.c component of FFmpeg v8.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted input file. |
| A heap buffer overflow in the av_bprint_finalize() function of FFmpeg v8.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input. |
| OpenHarness prior to commit dd1d235 contains a command injection vulnerability that allows remote gateway users with chat access to invoke sensitive administrative commands by exploiting insufficient distinction between local-only and remote-safe commands in the gateway handler. Attackers can execute administrative commands such as /permissions full_auto through remote chat sessions to change permission modes of a running OpenHarness instance without operator authorization. |
| free5GC UDR is the Policy Control Function (PCF) for free5GC, an an open-source project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. A memory leak vulnerability in versions prior to 1.4.3 allows any unauthenticated attacker with network access to the PCF SBI interface to cause uncontrolled memory growth by sending repeated HTTP requests to the OAM endpoint. The root cause is a `router.Use()` call inside an HTTP handler that registers a new CORS middleware on every incoming request, permanently growing the Gin router's handler chain. This leads to progressive memory exhaustion and eventual Denial of Service of the PCF, preventing all UEs from obtaining AM and SM policies and blocking 5G session establishment. Version 1.4.3 contains a patch. |
| free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. In versions 4.2.1 and below of the UDR service, the handler for creating or updating Traffic Influence Subscriptions checks whether the influenceId path segment equals subs-to-notify, but does not return after sending the HTTP 404 response when validation fails. Execution continues and the subscription is created or overwritten regardless. An unauthenticated attacker with access to the 5G Service Based Interface can create or overwrite arbitrary Traffic Influence Subscriptions, including injecting attacker-controlled notificationUri values and arbitrary SUPIs, by supplying any value for the influenceId path segment. A patched version was not available at the time of publication. |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the locale save endpoint (`locale/save.php`) constructs a file path by directly concatenating `$_POST['flag']` into the path at line 30 without any sanitization. The `$_POST['code']` parameter is then written verbatim to that path via `fwrite()` at line 40. An admin attacker (or any user who can CSRF an admin, since no CSRF token is checked and cookies use `SameSite=None`) can traverse out of the `locale/` directory and write arbitrary `.php` files to any writable location on the filesystem, achieving Remote Code Execution. Commit 57f89ffbc27d37c9d9dd727212334846e78ac21a fixes the issue. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle HTTP Server product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Core). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle HTTP Server. While the vulnerability is in Oracle HTTP Server, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle HTTP Server accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle HTTP Server accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.7 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| Glances is an open-source system cross-platform monitoring tool. Prior to version 4.5.4, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the Glances IP plugin due to improper validation of the public_api configuration parameter. The value of public_api is used directly in outbound HTTP requests without any scheme restriction or hostname/IP validation. An attacker who can modify the Glances configuration can force the application to send requests to arbitrary internal or external endpoints. Additionally, when public_username and public_password are set, Glances automatically includes these credentials in the Authorization: Basic header, resulting in credential leakage to attacker-controlled servers. This vulnerability can be exploited to access internal network services, retrieve sensitive data from cloud metadata endpoints, and/or exfiltrate credentials via outbound HTTP requests. The issue arises because public_api is passed directly to the HTTP client (urlopen_auth) without validation, allowing unrestricted outbound connections and unintended disclosure of sensitive information. Version 4.5.4 contains a patch. |
| OpenClaude is an open-source coding-agent command line interface for cloud and local model providers. Versions prior to 0.5.1 have a logic flaw in `bashToolHasPermission()` inside `src/tools/BashTool/bashPermissions.ts`. When the sandbox auto-allow feature is active and no explicit deny rule is configured, the function returns an `allow` result immediately — before the path constraint filter (`checkPathConstraints`) is ever evaluated. This allows commands containing path traversal sequences (e.g., `../../../../../etc/passwd`) to bypass directory restrictions entirely. Version 0.5.1 contains a patch for the issue. |
| A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Netwide Assembler (NASM) due to a lack of bounds checking in the obj_directive() function. This vulnerability can be exploited by a user assembling a malicious .asm file, potentially leading to heap memory corruption, denial of service (crash), and arbitrary code execution. |
