| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. From 0.20.2rc0 until 0.26.0, safe_load_prompt_embeds in vllm/renderers/embed_utils.py uses torch.sparse.check_sparse_tensor_invariants, whose process-global save, enable, and restore state can be raced by concurrent prompt_embeds parts submitted to POST /v1/chat/completions through AsyncMultiModalItemTracker.resolve_items, asyncio.gather, and the default executor, allowing an invalid sparse tensor to reach tensor.to_dense despite the CVE-2025-62164 guard when enable_prompt_embeds is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
i2c: core: fix adapter deregistration race
Adapters can be looked up by their id using i2c_get_adapter() which
takes a reference to the embedded struct device.
Remove the adapter from the IDR before tearing it down during
deregistration (and on registration failure) to make sure its resources
are not accessed after having been freed (e.g. the device name). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Don't leak PFN when kvm_translate_vncr() races MMU notifier
In the case that kvm_translate_vncr() races with an MMU notifier the
early return does not release a reference on the faulted in PFN. Add
the necessary call to kvm_release_faultin_page() for the unused PFN. |
