CVE-2026-68441 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: Handle TC_ACT_REDIRECT from qdisc filter chains When a TC filter attached to a qdisc filter chain returns TC_ACT_REDIRECT (ex: via an eBPF program calling bpf_redirect() or an act_bpf action), the redirect was silently lost i.e no qdisc classify function handled TC_ACT_REDIRECT, so the packet fell through the switch and was enqueued normally instead of being redirected. This has been broken since bpf_redirect() was introduced for TC in commit 27b29f63058d ("bpf: add bpf_redirect() helper"). We got lucky for a long time because bpf_net_context was a per-CPU variable that was always available. commit 401cb7dae813 ("net: Reference bpf_redirect_info via task_struct on PREEMPT_RT.") turned bpf_net_context into a task_struct member that is only set up by explicit callers. Without a caller setting it up, bpf_redirect() itself crashes with a NULL pointer dereference in bpf_net_ctx_get_ri(). However, even with bpf_net_context available, TC_ACT_REDIRECT from qdisc filter chains cannot be honored without adding skb_do_redirect() calls to every qdisc classify function, which would require changes across net/sched/. Isolate it to ebpf core where it belongs. Instead, add a tcf_classify_qdisc() inline helper in pkt_cls.h, as a wrapper around tcf_classify() for use by qdisc classify functions and tcf_qevent_handle(). When the classify verdict is TC_ACT_REDIRECT, the wrapper converts it to TC_ACT_SHOT, dropping the packet rather than letting it continue silently. Dropping is preferred over letting the packet through because the user immediately sees packet loss. Silently passing the packet through would hide the problem and leave the user wondering why their redirect is not working. The clsact fast path, tc_run() continues to call tcf_classify() directly and is unaffected: TC_ACT_REDIRECT is returned as-is and handled by sch_handle_egress/ingress() calling skb_do_redirect() as before.
CVE-2026-68444 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_ffa: Fix NULL dereference in ffa_partition_info_get() ffa_partition_info_get() passes uuid_str directly to uuid_parse() without a NULL check. When a caller passes NULL, uuid_parse() -> __uuid_parse() -> uuid_is_valid() dereferences the pointer, causing a kernel panic: | Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address | 0000000000000040 | pc : uuid_parse+0x40/0xac | lr : ffa_partition_info_get+0x1c/0x94 [arm_ffa] Add a NULL guard before uuid_parse() so a NULL argument returns -ENODEV instead of crashing. Callers are expected to always supply a valid partition UUID, so NULL is not a supported input.
CVE-2026-34196 3 Google, Imaginationtech, Linux 4 Android, Ddk, Graphics Ddk and 1 more 2026-08-12 7.8 High
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to cause an integer overflow and map two GPU virtual addresses to the same physical address. One of these virutal mappings can be freed along with the physical page, allowing for a read/write UAF via the second mapping The second virtual mapping references a physical address that has been freed after the first virtual mapping has been freed. This allows the physical memory to be allocated (for example) by another process and read/written to.
CVE-2026-41154 3 Google, Imaginationtech, Linux 4 Android, Ddk, Graphics Ddk and 1 more 2026-08-12 7.8 High
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may cause OOB kernel memory reads or writes through GPU API calls. When indexing pages larger than 4kB in the page freeing logic of the sparse memory implementation, incorrect buffer indexing leads to OOB access.
CVE-2026-45196 3 Google, Imaginationtech, Linux 4 Android, Ddk, Graphics Ddk and 1 more 2026-08-12 7.8 High
Kernel software installed and running inside a Host VM may post improper commands to the GPU Firmware to trigger a GPU register access which can lead to privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-45203 3 Google, Imaginationtech, Linux 4 Android, Ddk, Graphics Ddk and 1 more 2026-08-12 7.8 High
Kernel software installed and running inside a Host VM may post improper commands to the GPU Firmware to trigger a memory write outside the permitted range of memory for the host kernel. A TOCTOU bug existed where a malicious driver could modify values in memory after firmware validation but before use.
CVE-2026-7639 3 Google, Imaginationtech, Linux 4 Android, Ddk, Graphics Ddk and 1 more 2026-08-12 7.8 High
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct a sequence of improper GPU system calls causing use after free, which helps in facilitating unprivileged memory access from a shader code. Triggering failure path in the MMU mapping logic by a malicious code could lead to incomplete cleanup of an internal driver state, allowing for future unauthorized access to the contents of the physical memory.
CVE-2026-68434 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: 8250_mid: Fix NULL function pointer dereference on DNV/ICX-D/SNR platforms Commit b1b4efea05a5 ("serial: 8250_mid: Disable DMA for selected platforms") replaced the dnv_board setup and exit callbacks with PTR_IF(false, ...), which evaluates to NULL. However, the three call sites in mid8250_probe() and mid8250_remove() unconditionally dereference these function pointers without NULL checks, causing a NULL pointer dereference (kernel oops) on any Denverton (DNV), Ice Lake Xeon D (ICX-D/CDF), or Snowridge (SNR) platform. Fix this by adding the missing NULL checks before calling the setup and exit callbacks.
CVE-2026-21733 3 Google, Imaginationtech, Linux 4 Android, Ddk, Graphics Ddk and 1 more 2026-08-12 7.3 High
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls to gain write permission to read-only wrapped user-mode memory and files. This is caused by improper handling of GPU memory reservation protections.
CVE-2026-64250 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: LoongArch: Report dying CPU to RCU in stop_this_cpu() This is a port of MIPS commit 9f3f3bdc6d9dac1 ("MIPS: smp: report dying CPU to RCU in stop_this_cpu()"). smp_send_stop() parks all secondary CPUs in stop_this_cpu(). And the function marks the CPU offline for the scheduler via set_cpu_online(false) but never informs RCU, so RCU keeps expecting a quiescent state from CPUs that are now spinning forever with interrupts disabled. As long as nothing waits for an RCU grace period after smp_send_stop() this is harmless, which is why it went unnoticed. However, since commit 91840be8f710370 ("irq_work: Fix use-after-free in irq_work_single() on PREEMPT_RT"), irq_work_sync() calls synchronize_rcu() on architectures without an irq_work self-IPI, i.e. where arch_irq_work_has_interrupt() returns false. Any irq_work_sync() issued in the reboot/shutdown/halt path after smp_send_stop() then blocks on a grace period that can never complete, hanging the reboot: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 15 at kernel/irq_work.c:144 irq_work_queue_on ... rcu: INFO: rcu_sched detected stalls on CPUs/tasks: rcu: Offline CPU 1 blocking current GP. rcu: Offline CPU 2 blocking current GP. rcu: Offline CPU 3 blocking current GP. This issue needs some hacks to reproduce, and it was not noticed on LoongArch because arch_irq_work_has_interrupt() usually returns true. Call rcutree_report_cpu_dead() once interrupts are disabled, mirroring the generic CPU-hotplug offline path, so RCU stops waiting on the parked CPUs and grace periods can still complete. LoongArch shuts down all CPUs here without going through the CPU-hotplug mechanism, so this report is not otherwise issued.
CVE-2026-64251 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pwrseq: core: fix use-after-free in pwrseq_debugfs_seq_next() pwrseq_debugfs_seq_next() declares 'next' with __free(put_device), which causes put_device() to be called on the returned pointer when the variable goes out of scope. This results in a use-after-free since the seq_file framework receives a pointer whose reference has already been dropped. Simply removing __free(put_device) would fix the UAF but would leak the reference acquired by bus_find_next_device(), as stop() only calls up_read(&pwrseq_sem) and never releases the device reference. Fix this by making the reference counting consistent across all seq_file callbacks, matching the standard pattern used by PCI and SCSI: - start(): use get_device() so it returns a referenced pointer. - next(): explicitly put_device(curr) to release the previous device's reference (no NULL check needed - the seq_file framework only calls next() while the previous return was non-NULL). - stop(): put_device(data) to release the last iterated device's reference, with a NULL guard since stop() may be called with NULL when start() returned NULL or next() reached end-of-sequence.
CVE-2026-64252 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: MIPS: DEC: Prevent initial console buffer from landing in XKPHYS In 64-bit configurations calling the initial console output handler from a kernel thread other than the initial one will result in a situation where the stack has been placed in the XKPHYS 64-bit memory segment and consequently so has been the buffer allocated there that is used as the argument corresponding to the `%s' output conversion specifier for the firmware's printf() entry point. This 64-bit address will then be truncated by 32-bit firmware, resulting in an attempt to access the wrong memory location, which in turn will cause all kinds of unpredictable behaviour, such as a kernel crash: Console: colour dummy device 160x64 Calibrating delay loop... 49.36 BogoMIPS (lpj=192512) pid_max: default: 32768 minimum: 301 CPU 0 Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 000000000203bd00, epc == ffffffffbfc08364, ra == ffffffffbfc08800 Oops[#1]: CPU: 0 PID: 0 Comm: swapper Not tainted 5.18.0-rc2-00254-gfb649bda6f56-dirty #121 $ 0 : 0000000000000000 0000000000000001 0000000000000023 ffffffff80684ba0 $ 4 : 000000000203bd00 ffffffffbfc0f3b4 ffffffffffffffff 0000000000000073 $ 8 : 0a303d7469000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000073 ffffffffbfc0f473 $12 : 0000000000000002 0000000000000000 ffffffff80684c1c 0000000000000000 $16 : 0000000000000000 ffffffff80596dc9 0000000000000000 ffffffffbfc09240 $20 : ffffffff80684c40 ffffffffbfc0f400 000000000000002d 000000000000002b $24 : ffffffffffffffbf 000000000203bd00 $28 : ffffffff805f0000 ffffffff80684b58 0000000000000030 ffffffffbfc08800 Hi : 0000000000000000 Lo : 0000000000000aa8 epc : ffffffffbfc08364 0xffffffffbfc08364 ra : ffffffffbfc08800 0xffffffffbfc08800 Status: 140120e2 KX SX UX KERNEL EXL Cause : 00000008 (ExcCode 02) BadVA : 000000000203bd00 PrId : 00000430 (R4000SC) Modules linked in: Process swapper (pid: 0, threadinfo=(____ptrval____), task=(____ptrval____), tls=0000000000000000) Stack : 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000004d0000004d 80684cc0806a2a40 80596dc80000004d 8061000000000000 bfc0850c80684c38 0000000000000000 000000000203bd00 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 00000000bfc0f3b4 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 0000002500000000 0000000000000000 0000000000000000 802c1a7400000000 0203bd0080596dc8 0203bd4d69000000 6c61632000000018 5f746567646e6172 6c616320625f6d6f 5f736e5f6d6f7266 206361323778302b 303d74696e726320 806a0a38806b0000 806a0a38806b0000 00000000806b0000 80683c58806b0000 ... This may happen when no final console driver has been enabled in the configuration and consequently the initial console continues being used late into bootstrap or with an upcoming change that will switch the zs driver to use a platform device, which in turn will make the console handover happen only after other kernel threads have already been started. Fix the issue by making the buffer static and initdata, and therefore placed in the CKSEG0 32-bit compatibility segment, observing that the console output handler is called with the console lock held, implying no need for this code to be reentrant. Add an assertion to verify the buffer actually has been placed in a compatibility segment.
CVE-2026-64254 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NTB: epf: Avoid pci_iounmap() with offset when PEER_SPAD and CONFIG share BAR When BAR_PEER_SPAD and BAR_CONFIG share one PCI BAR, the module teardown path ends up calling pci_iounmap() on the same iomem with some offset, which is unnecessary and triggers a kernel warning like the following: Trying to vunmap() nonexistent vm area (0000000069a5ffe8) WARNING: mm/vmalloc.c:3470 at vunmap+0x58/0x68, CPU#5: modprobe/2937 [...] Call trace: vunmap+0x58/0x68 (P) iounmap+0x34/0x48 pci_iounmap+0x2c/0x40 ntb_epf_pci_remove+0x44/0x80 [ntb_hw_epf] pci_device_remove+0x48/0xf8 device_remove+0x50/0x88 device_release_driver_internal+0x1c8/0x228 driver_detach+0x50/0xb0 bus_remove_driver+0x74/0x100 driver_unregister+0x34/0x68 pci_unregister_driver+0x34/0xa0 ntb_epf_pci_driver_exit+0x14/0xfe0 [ntb_hw_epf] [...] Fix it by unmapping only when PEER_SPAD and CONFIG use difference bars.
CVE-2026-64255 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mld: validate sta_mask before ffs() in BA session handlers Three BA session handlers use ffs(ba_data->sta_mask) - 1 to derive a station ID without checking that sta_mask is non-zero. When sta_mask is zero, ffs() returns 0 and the subtraction wraps to 0xFFFFFFFF, causing an out-of-bounds access on fw_id_to_link_sta[]. Add WARN_ON_ONCE(!ba_data->sta_mask) guards before each ffs() call, consistent with the existing check in iwl_mld_ampdu_rx_start().
CVE-2026-64256 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: don't wrap around quota ids in dqiterate LOLLM noticed that q_id is an unsigned 32-bit variable. If it happens to be set to XFS_DQ_ID_MAX due to a filesystem that actually has a dquot for ID_MAX, then this addition will truncate to zero and the iteration starts over. Fix this by casting to u64.
CVE-2026-64257 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: reject overlapping data areas in SMB2 responses Commit 53b7c271f06b ("smb: client: restrict implied bcc[0] exemption to responses without data area") restricted the implied bcc[0] length exception to responses without a data area. However, the overlap handling in __smb2_calc_size() clears data_length, which can make an invalid response appear to have no data area and so qualify for the exception. Track data area overlap separately and reject such responses before applying the length compatibility exceptions.
CVE-2026-64258 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse-uring: remove request-less entries from ent_w_req_queue to fix NULL deref If a copy into the userspace ring buffer fails, a request will be terminated and fuse_uring_req_end() will set ent->fuse_req to NULL but it will leave the entry on ent_w_req_queue in FRRS_FUSE_REQ state. This can lead to a NULL deref if the request expiration logic scans ent_w_req_queue in the window before the entry is moved off it. Fix this by taking the entry off ent_w_req_queue and changing its state from FRRS_FUSE_REQ to FRRS_INVALID before terminating the request.
CVE-2026-64259 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse-uring: make a fuse_req on SQE commit only findable after memcpy Bad userspace might try to trick us and send commit SQEs request unique / commit-id of requests that are not even send to fuse-server (io_uring_cmd_done() not called) yet. fuse_uring_commit_fetch() ends the fuse request when the ring entry has a wrong state, but that could have caused a use-after-free with the memcpy operations in fuse_uring_send_in_task(). In order to avoid such races the call of fuse_uring_add_to_pq() is moved after the copy operations and just before completing the io-uring request - malicious userspace cannot find the request anymore until all prepration work in fuse-client/kernel is completed. This also moves fuse_uring_add_to_pq() a bit up in the code to avoid a forward declaration. Also not with a preparation commit, to make it easier to back port to older kernels.
CVE-2026-64260 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse-uring: Avoid queue->stopped races and set/read that value under lock There are several readers of queue->stopped that check the value under lock, but fuse_uring_commit_fetch() did not and actually the value was not set under the lock in fuse_uring_abort_end_requests() either. Especially in fuse_uring_commit_fetch it is important to check under a lock, because due to races 'struct fuse_req' might be freed with fuse_request_end, but another thread/cpu might already do teardown work.
CVE-2026-64261 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse-uring: Avoid use-after-free in fuse_uring_async_stop_queues fuse_uring_async_stop_queues() might run when the last reference on ring->queue_refs was already dropped. In order to avoid an early destruction a reference on struct fuse_conn is now taken before starting fuse_uring_async_stop_queues() and that reference is only released when that delayed work queue terminates.
