| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: tegra: Fix memory leak in terminate_all() Terminate vdesc when terminating an ongoing transfer. This will ensure that the vdesc is present in the desc_terminated list The descriptor will be freed later in desc_free_list(). This fixes the memory leaks which can happen when terminating an ongoing transfer. | ||||
| CVE-2023-53013 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptdma: pt_core_execute_cmd() should use spinlock The interrupt handler (pt_core_irq_handler()) of the ptdma driver can be called from interrupt context. The code flow in this function can lead down to pt_core_execute_cmd() which will attempt to grab a mutex, which is not appropriate in interrupt context and ultimately leads to a kernel panic. The fix here changes this mutex to a spinlock, which has been verified to resolve the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-52938 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: Don't attempt to resume the ports before they exist This will fix null pointer dereference that was caused by the driver attempting to resume ports that were not yet registered. | ||||
| CVE-2023-52937 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HV: hv_balloon: fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it, otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at once. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49716 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3: Fix error handling in gic_populate_ppi_partitions of_get_child_by_name() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. When kcalloc fails, it missing of_node_put() and results in refcount leak. Fix this by goto out_put_node label. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49715 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3: Fix refcount leak in gic_populate_ppi_partitions of_find_node_by_phandle() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49671 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/cm: Fix memory leak in ib_cm_insert_listen cm_alloc_id_priv() allocates resource for the cm_id_priv. When cm_init_listen() fails it doesn't free it, leading to memory leak. Add the missing error unwind. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49653 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: piix4: Fix a memory leak in the EFCH MMIO support The recently added support for EFCH MMIO regions introduced a memory leak in that code path. The leak is caused by the fact that release_resource() merely removes the resource from the tree but does not free its memory. We need to call release_mem_region() instead, which does free the memory. As a nice side effect, this brings back some symmetry between the legacy and MMIO paths. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49644 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: fix a possible refcount leak in intel_dp_add_mst_connector() If drm_connector_init fails, intel_connector_free will be called to take care of proper free. So it is necessary to drop the refcount of port before intel_connector_free. (cherry picked from commit cea9ed611e85d36a05db52b6457bf584b7d969e2) | ||||
| CVE-2022-49641 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sysctl: Fix data races in proc_douintvec(). A sysctl variable is accessed concurrently, and there is always a chance of data-race. So, all readers and writers need some basic protection to avoid load/store-tearing. This patch changes proc_douintvec() to use READ_ONCE() and WRITE_ONCE() internally to fix data-races on the sysctl side. For now, proc_douintvec() itself is tolerant to a data-race, but we still need to add annotations on the other subsystem's side. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49639 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-10-01 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cipso: Fix data-races around sysctl. While reading cipso sysctl variables, they can be changed concurrently. So, we need to add READ_ONCE() to avoid data-races. | ||||
