CVE-2025-68247 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-timers: Plug potential memory leak in do_timer_create() When posix timer creation is set to allocate a given timer ID and the access to the user space value faults, the function terminates without freeing the already allocated posix timer structure. Move the allocation after the user space access to cure that. [ tglx: Massaged change log ]
CVE-2025-68754 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: amlogic-a4: fix double free caused by devm The clock obtained via devm_clk_get_enabled() is automatically managed by devres and will be disabled and freed on driver detach. Manually calling clk_disable_unprepare() in error path and remove function causes double free. Remove the redundant clk_disable_unprepare() calls from the probe error path and aml_rtc_remove(), allowing the devm framework to automatically manage the clock lifecycle.
CVE-2025-68755 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: most: remove broken i2c driver The MOST I2C driver has been completely broken for five years without anyone noticing so remove the driver from staging. Specifically, commit 723de0f9171e ("staging: most: remove device from interface structure") started requiring drivers to set the interface device pointer before registration, but the I2C driver was never updated which results in a NULL pointer dereference if anyone ever tries to probe it.
CVE-2025-68758 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: backlight: led-bl: Add devlink to supplier LEDs LED Backlight is a consumer of one or multiple LED class devices, but devlink is currently unable to create correct supplier-producer links when the supplier is a class device. It creates instead a link where the supplier is the parent of the expected device. One consequence is that removal order is not correctly enforced. Issues happen for example with the following sections in a device tree overlay: // An LED driver chip pca9632@62 { compatible = "nxp,pca9632"; reg = <0x62>; // ... addon_led_pwm: led-pwm@3 { reg = <3>; label = "addon:led:pwm"; }; }; backlight-addon { compatible = "led-backlight"; leds = <&addon_led_pwm>; brightness-levels = <255>; default-brightness-level = <255>; }; In this example, the devlink should be created between the backlight-addon (consumer) and the pca9632@62 (supplier). Instead it is created between the backlight-addon (consumer) and the parent of the pca9632@62, which is typically the I2C bus adapter. On removal of the above overlay, the LED driver can be removed before the backlight device, resulting in: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000010 ... Call trace: led_put+0xe0/0x140 devm_led_release+0x6c/0x98 Another way to reproduce the bug without any device tree overlays is unbinding the LED class device (pca9632@62) before unbinding the consumer (backlight-addon): echo 11-0062 >/sys/bus/i2c/drivers/leds-pca963x/unbind echo ...backlight-dock >/sys/bus/platform/drivers/led-backlight/unbind Fix by adding a devlink between the consuming led-backlight device and the supplying LED device, as other drivers and subsystems do as well.
CVE-2025-68759 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtl818x: Fix potential memory leaks in rtl8180_init_rx_ring() In rtl8180_init_rx_ring(), memory is allocated for skb packets and DMA allocations in a loop. When an allocation fails, the previously successful allocations are not freed on exit. Fix that by jumping to err_free_rings label on error, which calls rtl8180_free_rx_ring() to free the allocations. Remove the free of rx_ring in rtl8180_init_rx_ring() error path, and set the freed priv->rx_buf entry to null, to avoid double free.
CVE-2025-68760 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Fix potential out-of-bounds read in iommu_mmio_show In iommu_mmio_write(), it validates the user-provided offset with the check: `iommu->dbg_mmio_offset > iommu->mmio_phys_end - 4`. This assumes a 4-byte access. However, the corresponding show handler, iommu_mmio_show(), uses readq() to perform an 8-byte (64-bit) read. If a user provides an offset equal to `mmio_phys_end - 4`, the check passes, and will lead to a 4-byte out-of-bounds read. Fix this by adjusting the boundary check to use sizeof(u64), which corresponds to the size of the readq() operation.
CVE-2025-68245 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: netpoll: fix incorrect refcount handling causing incorrect cleanup commit efa95b01da18 ("netpoll: fix use after free") incorrectly ignored the refcount and prematurely set dev->npinfo to NULL during netpoll cleanup, leading to improper behavior and memory leaks. Scenario causing lack of proper cleanup: 1) A netpoll is associated with a NIC (e.g., eth0) and netdev->npinfo is allocated, and refcnt = 1 - Keep in mind that npinfo is shared among all netpoll instances. In this case, there is just one. 2) Another netpoll is also associated with the same NIC and npinfo->refcnt += 1. - Now dev->npinfo->refcnt = 2; - There is just one npinfo associated to the netdev. 3) When the first netpolls goes to clean up: - The first cleanup succeeds and clears np->dev->npinfo, ignoring refcnt. - It basically calls `RCU_INIT_POINTER(np->dev->npinfo, NULL);` - Set dev->npinfo = NULL, without proper cleanup - No ->ndo_netpoll_cleanup() is either called 4) Now the second target tries to clean up - The second cleanup fails because np->dev->npinfo is already NULL. * In this case, ops->ndo_netpoll_cleanup() was never called, and the skb pool is not cleaned as well (for the second netpoll instance) - This leaks npinfo and skbpool skbs, which is clearly reported by kmemleak. Revert commit efa95b01da18 ("netpoll: fix use after free") and adds clarifying comments emphasizing that npinfo cleanup should only happen once the refcount reaches zero, ensuring stable and correct netpoll behavior.
CVE-2025-68762 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: netpoll: initialize work queue before error checks Prevent a kernel warning when netconsole setup fails on devices with IFF_DISABLE_NETPOLL flag. The warning (at kernel/workqueue.c:4242 in __flush_work) occurs because the cleanup path tries to cancel an uninitialized work queue. When __netpoll_setup() encounters a device with IFF_DISABLE_NETPOLL, it fails early and calls skb_pool_flush() for cleanup. This function calls cancel_work_sync(&np->refill_wq), but refill_wq hasn't been initialized yet, triggering the warning. Move INIT_WORK() to the beginning of __netpoll_setup(), ensuring the work queue is properly initialized before any potential failure points. This allows the cleanup path to safely cancel the work queue regardless of where the setup fails.
CVE-2025-68763 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: starfive - Correctly handle return of sg_nents_for_len The return value of sg_nents_for_len was assigned to an unsigned long in starfive_hash_digest, causing negative error codes to be converted to large positive integers. Add error checking for sg_nents_for_len and return immediately on failure to prevent potential buffer overflows.
CVE-2025-68765 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mt76: mt7615: Fix memory leak in mt7615_mcu_wtbl_sta_add() In mt7615_mcu_wtbl_sta_add(), an skb sskb is allocated. If the subsequent call to mt76_connac_mcu_alloc_wtbl_req() fails, the function returns an error without freeing sskb, leading to a memory leak. Fix this by calling dev_kfree_skb() on sskb in the error handling path to ensure it is properly released.
CVE-2025-68766 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/mchp-eic: Fix error code in mchp_eic_domain_alloc() If irq_domain_translate_twocell() sets "hwirq" to >= MCHP_EIC_NIRQ (2) then it results in an out of bounds access. The code checks for invalid values, but doesn't set the error code. Return -EINVAL in that case, instead of returning success.
CVE-2025-68767 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hfsplus: Verify inode mode when loading from disk syzbot is reporting that S_IFMT bits of inode->i_mode can become bogus when the S_IFMT bits of the 16bits "mode" field loaded from disk are corrupted. According to [1], the permissions field was treated as reserved in Mac OS 8 and 9. According to [2], the reserved field was explicitly initialized with 0, and that field must remain 0 as long as reserved. Therefore, when the "mode" field is not 0 (i.e. no longer reserved), the file must be S_IFDIR if dir == 1, and the file must be one of S_IFREG/S_IFLNK/S_IFCHR/ S_IFBLK/S_IFIFO/S_IFSOCK if dir == 0.
CVE-2025-68244 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: Avoid lock inversion when pinning to GGTT on CHV/BXT+VTD On completion of i915_vma_pin_ww(), a synchronous variant of dma_fence_work_commit() is called. When pinning a VMA to GGTT address space on a Cherry View family processor, or on a Broxton generation SoC with VTD enabled, i.e., when stop_machine() is then called from intel_ggtt_bind_vma(), that can potentially lead to lock inversion among reservation_ww and cpu_hotplug locks. CVE-2025-68771 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: fix kernel BUG in ocfs2_find_victim_chain syzbot reported a kernel BUG in ocfs2_find_victim_chain() because the `cl_next_free_rec` field of the allocation chain list (next free slot in the chain list) is 0, triggring the BUG_ON(!cl->cl_next_free_rec) condition in ocfs2_find_victim_chain() and panicking the kernel. To fix this, an if condition is introduced in ocfs2_claim_suballoc_bits(), just before calling ocfs2_find_victim_chain(), the code block in it being executed when either of the following conditions is true: 1. `cl_next_free_rec` is equal to 0, indicating that there are no free chains in the allocation chain list 2. `cl_next_free_rec` is greater than `cl_count` (the total number of chains in the allocation chain list) Either of them being true is indicative of the fact that there are no chains left for usage. This is addressed using ocfs2_error(), which prints the error log for debugging purposes, rather than panicking the kernel.

CVE-2025-68773 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: fsl-cpm: Check length parity before switching to 16 bit mode Commit fc96ec826bce ("spi: fsl-cpm: Use 16 bit mode for large transfers with even size") failed to make sure that the size is really even before switching to 16 bit mode. Until recently the problem went unnoticed because kernfs uses a pre-allocated bounce buffer of size PAGE_SIZE for reading EEPROM. But commit 8ad6249c51d0 ("eeprom: at25: convert to spi-mem API") introduced an additional dynamically allocated bounce buffer whose size is exactly the size of the transfer, leading to a buffer overrun in the fsl-cpm driver when that size is odd. Add the missing length parity verification and remain in 8 bit mode when the length is not even.

If __pskb_copy() returns NULL, skb_clone() is called with a NULL pointer, causing a crash: Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdffffc000000000f: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000078-0x000000000000007f] CPU: 0 UID: 0 PID: 5625 Comm: syz.1.18 Not tainted syzkaller #0 PREEMPT(full) Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 1.16.3-debian-1.16.3-2~bpo12+1 04/01/2014 RIP: 0010:skb_clone+0xd7/0x3a0 net/core/skbuff.c:2041 Code: 03 42 80 3c 20 00 74 08 4c 89 f7 e8 23 29 05 f9 49 83 3e 00 0f 85 a0 01 00 00 e8 94 dd 9d f8 48 8d 6b 7e 49 89 ee 49 c1 ee 03 <43> 0f b6 04 26 84 c0 0f 85 d1 01 00 00 44 0f b6 7d 00 41 83 e7 0c RSP: 0018:ffffc9000d00f200 EFLAGS: 00010207 RAX: ffffffff892235a1 RBX: 0000000000000000 RCX: ffff88803372a480 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 0000000000000820 RDI: 0000000000000000 RBP: 000000000000007e R08: ffffffff8f7d0f77 R09: 1ffffffff1efa1ee R10: dffffc0000000000 R11: fffffbfff1efa1ef R12: dffffc0000000000 R13: 0000000000000820 R14: 000000000000000f R15: ffff88805144cc00 FS: 0000555557f6d500(0000) GS:ffff88808d72f000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 0000555581d35808 CR3: 000000005040e000 CR4: 0000000000352ef0 Call Trace: <TASK> hsr_forward_do net/hsr/hsr_forward.c:-1 [inline] hsr_forward_skb+0x1013/0x2860 net/hsr/hsr_forward.c:741 hsr_handle_frame+0x6ce/0xa70 net/hsr/hsr_slave.c:84 __netif_receive_skb_core+0x10b9/0x4380 net/core/dev.c:5966 __netif_receive_skb_one_core net/core/dev.c:6077 [inline] __netif_receive_skb+0x72/0x380 net/core/dev.c:6192 netif_receive_skb_internal net/core/dev.c:6278 [inline] netif_receive_skb+0x1cb/0x790 net/core/dev.c:6337 tun_rx_batched+0x1b9/0x730 drivers/net/tun.c:1485 tun_get_user+0x2b65/0x3e90 drivers/net/tun.c:1953 tun_chr_write_iter+0x113/0x200 drivers/net/tun.c:1999 new_sync_write fs/read_write.c:593 [inline] vfs_write+0x5c9/0xb30 fs/read_write.c:686 ksys_write+0x145/0x250 fs/read_write.c:738 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 [inline] do_syscall_64+0xfa/0xfa0 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f RIP: 0033:0x7f0449f8e1ff Code: 89 54 24 18 48 89 74 24 10 89 7c 24 08 e8 f9 92 02 00 48 8b 54 24 18 48 8b 74 24 10 41 89 c0 8b 7c 24 08 b8 01 00 00 00 0f 05 <48> 3d 00 f0 ff ff 77 31 44 89 c7 48 89 44 24 08 e8 4c 93 02 00 48 RSP: 002b:00007ffd7ad94c90 EFLAGS: 00000293 ORIG_RAX: 0000000000000001 RAX: ffffffffffffffda RBX: 00007f044a1e5fa0 RCX: 00007f0449f8e1ff RDX: 000000000000003e RSI: 0000200000000500 RDI: 00000000000000c8 RBP: 00007ffd7ad94d20 R08: 0000000000000000 R09: 0000000000000000 R10: 000000000000003e R11: 0000000000000293 R12: 0000000000000001 R13: 00007f044a1e5fa0 R14: 00007f044a1e5fa0 R15: 0000000000000003 </TASK> Add a NULL check immediately after __pskb_copy() to handle allocation failures gracefully.
CVE-2025-68777 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: ti_am335x_tsc - fix off-by-one error in wire_order validation The current validation 'wire_order[i] > ARRAY_SIZE(config_pins)' allows wire_order[i] to equal ARRAY_SIZE(config_pins), which causes out-of-bounds access when used as index in 'config_pins[wire_order[i]]'. Since config_pins has 4 elements (indices 0-3), the valid range for wire_order should be 0-3. Fix the off-by-one error by using >= instead of > in the validation check.
CVE-2025-68778 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: don't log conflicting inode if it's a dir moved in the current transaction We can't log a conflicting inode if it's a directory and it was moved from one parent directory to another parent directory in the current transaction, as this can result an attempt to have a directory with two hard links during log replay, one for the old parent directory and another for the new parent directory. The following scenario triggers that issue: 1) We have directories "dir1" and "dir2" created in a past transaction. Directory "dir1" has inode A as its parent directory; 2) We move "dir1" to some other directory; 3) We create a file with the name "dir1" in directory inode A; 4) We fsync the new file. This results in logging the inode of the new file and the inode for the directory "dir1" that was previously moved in the current transaction. So the log tree has the INODE_REF item for the new location of "dir1"; 5) We move the new file to some other directory. This results in updating the log tree to included the new INODE_REF for the new location of the file and removes the INODE_REF for the old location. This happens during the rename when we call btrfs_log_new_name(); 6) We fsync the file, and that persists the log tree changes done in the previous step (btrfs_log_new_name() only updates the log tree in memory); 7) We have a power failure; 8) Next time the fs is mounted, log replay happens and when processing the inode for directory "dir1" we find a new INODE_REF and add that link, but we don't remove the old link of the inode since we have not logged the old parent directory of the directory inode "dir1". As a result after log replay finishes when we trigger writeback of the subvolume tree's extent buffers, the tree check will detect that we have a directory a hard link count of 2 and we get a mount failure.
